Bingo Tuesday 29th May

Bingo Tuesday 29th May 4.30pm (doors open) Hampton Bishop Village Hall

We will be holding another bingo night during the week that the Comenius visitors are here. This time, we will not be asking for donations of cakes as we have booked the fish and chip van to come along to provide us with food. The PTFA will be selling Tea / coffee /soft drinks and biscuits from 4.30pm. We will run the bingo from 5pm - 6.15 and then we will round off the evening with a fish supper. We will need to pre-order food so if you want to eat after the bingo, you will need to place your order in advance. A limited menu of fish and chips (£5 adult, £4 child) / sausage and chips (£3 adult, £2 child) will be on offer. Look out for the order form in the book bags or order at the school office nearer the time.

Working day

A big thank you goes out to all those who came along to school on a Saturday afternoon to help with “school improvements”. (You know who you are!). We managed to achieve a number of things, including digging a flower bed around the story telling chair, weeding the flower beds outside reception classroom, cleaning all the windows, removing the ivy from the front railings and sweeping the yard. As we all enjoyed it so much, we have organised another working day on Saturday 14th July 2 - 4pm. Everyone welcome to help.

Easter Fun Day

Thanks to everyone who came along to support this event and to those who helped in any way. Everybody seemed to have a lovely afternoon which was helped by the weather! The day raised £200 so we may well repeat the event next year.

School Uniform

Please bear in mind the second hand school uniform stock if you need any more uniform. It’s all in good condition and it’s only £2 for items with a logo and £1 for items without. We have plenty of summer dresses and shorts available and will have it on sale at the Easter fun day. Or speak to Carrie Gwynne if you need anything. Also, if you have any uniform that your child has grown out of, particularly jumpers size 28 / 32 they would be gratefully received.
